The base has a 5-part motorised slat system, controlled through a corded handset, that adjusts the bed to the user’s requirements. The changing of the bed position is ideal for sitting up to read or watch TV, relieving pressure on legs and feet, and for assisting with mobility. There’s also the ability to adjust the slat tension, allowing for a softer or firmer base.

The mattress utilises pocket spring technology, with individually nested springs that contour to body shapes and provide exceptional sleeping support. This damask covered mattress also features robust hand side stitching, flag stitched handles for easy manoeuvrability, and is secured with an end support.

The base is built to last with a solid timber housing unit, piping on the edges and chrome easy–glide castors. The base has an emergency power back up function, controlled from a small 9 volt battery within the motor, and mains isolation – giving you peace of mind when in use. The Ultimo Adjustable Bed also comes with a 2 year manufacturer guarantee and 7 year manufacturer warranty.

Storage and massage options are offered with this bed. The massager can help relieve aches, pains and tension, whilst improving blood circulation – great for relaxing in bed! The massage system is built into the base in two different areas, one for your torso and the other for your legs, and comes with a cordless infra red controller with multiple settings.

Two continental drawers, for either the left or right-hand side of the bed, are offered with the single bed. Four drawers are offered with the super kingsize bed only. Storage options are currently not available with the small single or kingsize models.

Please note: headboard not included. Kingsize and super kingsize adjustable beds are linked, and consist of either two small single or two single beds joined together. This allows for two independent sides of the bed that are each controlled via their own handset.
